북한의 도서관 건축유형과 특징

이 연구는 먼저, 우리나라의 국립중앙도서관 격인 북한의 인민대학습당과 그동안 밝혀지지 않았던 지방의 인민학습당, 남한의 학교(학생)도서관과 공공(성인)도서관을 결합한 형태의 북한의 군중도서관, 그리고 대학도서관의 기본 설계형태와 외형 및 구조상의 특징을 살펴보고, 다음 설립배경 등 관련문헌 분석을 통하여 현재의 건축의 외형과 설계를 갖게된 역사적 배경과, 큰 틀에서의 우리나라 도서관과의 차이점을 살펴보았다.

Abstract

This study, firstly, investigates the basic design type and special features of the shape and structure of The Grand People’s Study House in North Korea which corresponds to The National Library of Korea in South Korea and the people’s study house in the provinces that was unknown until now, the public library of North Korea with the combined type of school(student) library and public(adult) library in South Korea, and university libraries. Secondly, by analyzing the establishment background, documentary records and others, we researched the historical background of present architectural type and design, and the general difference from libraries in South Korea.
