병영도서관 운영 방안에 관한 연구
A Study on the Administration Model for Military Libraries

초록
본 연구의 목적은 최근 주목받고 있는 병영도서관 설립과 운영을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하는 데 있다. 연구 방법으로 관련 문헌 및 정책자료 분석, 병영도서관 방문 현황 조사와 병사 면담 등을 이용되었으며, 병영도서관의 역사와 조직, 시설규모, 예산, 장서, 인력 현황과 이용자의 요구 등이 분석되었다. 연구의 결과 이용자 요구를 반영하는 병영도서관 운영과 서비스가 이루어지지 않고 있음이 확인되었고, 이를 토대로 현재 병영도서관 환경을 반영한 운영 모델과 병영도서관 발전을 위한 정책 방안 등을 제시하였다.

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to provide a guidelines for emerging military library development. The history and current environment relating to the military library development were examined through literature review and policy analysis, field survey and interview methods. The results show that current library administration and services are far behind in terms of meeting user needs. An administration model and policy for military library development were suggested.
