본 연구는 집단상담 과정 및 성과를 측정할 수 있는 집단상담 작업동맹 척도를 개발하여 척도의 신뢰도와 타당도를 검증하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 문헌연구와 기존의 관련 척도를 고찰하였다. 개별면담과 포커스면담을 추가로 실시하여, 집단상담 작업동맹에 대한 구성개념을 정리하고 60개의 예비문항을 개발하였다. 개발 후 집단상담전문가와 집단상담에 참여했던 집단원을 대상으로 5번의 내용타당도와 안면타당도 평정을 거쳐 49개의 최종예비문항을 선정하였다. 이후 집단상담에 참여해 본 집단원을 대상으로 예비연구(N=203)를 실시하여 집단상담 작업동맹의 구성요인을 3개, 21문항 구조의 측정 모형을 도출하였다. 또 다른 표집으로 본 연구(N=241)를 실시하여 척도의 모형을 검증하고 타당화분석을 하였다. 그 결과, 3요인, 21문항이 적합함을 재확인하였으며, 집단상담 작업동맹의 내적 합치도는 .92로 신뢰도는 양호하였다. 집단상담 작업동맹 척도의 3요인은 ‘정서적 유대’, ‘목표에 대한 합의’, ‘집단 과정적 참여’로 명명하였다. 관련 척도 상관분석을 통해 준거타당도, 예언타당도가 검증되었다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점 및 추후 연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.
The purpose of this study was to develop a working alliance scale for the group counseling context, and to assess its reliability and validity. First, a general probe of previous literature on scales was conducted. Next, focused individual interviews were conducted, and the basic concepts of group counseling related to working alliance were determined. This was followed by the development of a preliminary questionnaire. Then, after a five-time verification of validity, a 3-factor, 49-item solution was found. Next, 49 pilot items were chosen using content experts. An exploratory factor analysis was conducted with a sample of 203 group counseling participants. This resulted in a 3-factor (emotional bond, task-oriented agreement, and participation for a goal), 21-item solution. Confirmatory factor analysis using a separate sample of 241 group counseling participants reconfirmed this model. Based on these findings, implications, limitations, and directions for future research are discussed.
