Abstract

Cheon, Yang-hee published the first collection of poems after the lapse of 17 years from writing a poem in public. There were a lot of corporal image studded with something, locked in narrow and low place, and seized with unidentified guilty in that collection. But, these feature disappeared in the forth collection which was praised for the essential of lyricism. From the fourth collection, she has configurated reconciliation with world and nature. With referring to Freud and Kristeva's theory of depression(melancholia), imagery of the first collection and the poetic silence for a long time is symptom of depression. After, she had met nature, she began to write poetry again. Therefore, nature functioned the interpellation to her entering the symbolic order again. To the conclusion,the change of mood from death to alive was a passage from depression to mourning.
