This study focuses on emerging the new subjectivity in 1990's Korean literature. Rise and fall of new subjectivity in 1990's is a barometer of the success and failure of deconstructing modern subjectivity. Debate about 'New generation', 'The East asian', 'politics of difference' is the symptom of project of new subjectivity. So called women writer's novels which becomes the main stream in Korean literature, are the productions of this new project. Thus this study aim for historical approach about this project of new subjectivity. And this study elaborates new change of the narrative of feminine subjectivity. In this acting, I explore the narrative of difference which is different from modern narrative of self-identity. This reveals the possibility of new narrative. The new narrative of difference is also the ethics of differece. In conclusion, this study reached that new subjectivity in 1990's Korean literature was emerging from new feminine subjectivity and the narrative of difference.
